Daniel H Hodge
Daniel is a born and raised native of Knoxville, Tennessee. He aspires to be an entrepreneurial architect and developer, supplementing these goals by engaging his creative prowess in all facets of design along the way.
He is a photographer developing his eye and craft by seeking what Hockney so eloquently describes as "the vividness of life lived through intelligent looking."
He is a designer with experience in graphic design, interior design, architectural design, and all manners of some combination of the three. He has achieved mastery in many relevant programs and routinely returns to YouTube, Lynda, the Kahn Academy, and the internet at large to increase his knowledge and learn new techniques.
Daniel is an entrepreneur and has experience in real estate consulting, marketing, and investing. The convergence of architecture and real estate for the benefit of the public was a focus of his master's thesis project.
Upon receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in political theory and economics at the University of Tennessee in 2013, he went ahead to receive his Master of Arts in Architecture at the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design in 2016.
In the Spring of 2015, Daniel traveled to Rome, Italy, to spend a semester pursuing his graduate studies at the University of Arkansas Rome Center. It is here that he discovered his passion for photography, historic preservation, and urban issues.
Daniel was homeschooled for the majority of his pre-university schooling and it is within this setting that his creative passions and autodidacticism were allowed to flourish.
He is also an accomplished pianist who is both formally trained and plays by ear. Music is (pun intended) instrumental to his design process and experience.
